Gabrielle Carter was born and raised in Owings Mills, Maryland, she a senior Elementary Education major at Morgan State University in pursuit of becoming a principal. She is a member of an education honors society, a 5x dean’s list awardee, and has had the opportunity to study aboard in England. Gabrielle is a gifted artist and an entrepreneur creating art and sharing her talents through her business, Carters Creationss. Growing up in a supportive family, she learned the value of exploring diverse interests and becoming well-rounded. Gabrielle believes in doing her best and pursuing what brings her happiness. She found that pageantry was the perfect platform to spread her message and advocate for young girls.
As a student at Morgan State University, Gabrielle serves as the President of the Society of Future Educators, an organization that equips future teachers and education students for career beyond college. Previously, she held the title of Miss Society of Future Educators, where she hosted events, fostered engagement with other organizations, and inspired high school students to consider teaching careers. Gabrielle’s leadership skills shine as the Vice President of Fashion at Morgan, a campus modeling organization. This role enhanced her confidence and created an outlet for her to encourage other models, turning her interest in modeling into her passion.
Gabrielle is the newest face of the national lifestyle retailer, DTLR, and aims to further her modeling career. She has graced the runways of New York Fashion Week, The Baltimore Met Gala, Indie Fashion Show, and more. Modeling has significantly boosted her confidence, and she is committed to encouraging young women to build their self-esteem. Gabrielle’s interest in pageantry stems from her combined love for fashion and community service. As a Girl Scout for 13 years, she earned her Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards, learning the importance of giving back, sisterhood, and leadership. Recognizing the need for positive mentors, Gabrielle is dedicated to mentoring youth and fostering open conversations about mental health awareness, bullying, and striving for greatness. She embraces adventure and radiates positivity, seizing every opportunity to live life to the fullest while inspiring others.
